Various mediums are used that include writing, drawing, painting, collage, doodles, talking and many other forms of expression.

Art therapy is a helpful way to work with others who are unable to put their experience into words.

There is no right or wrong way to produce art, as the artwork is seen as self reflection and a means of communicating.

Emotions.

Art therapy is used to assist in expressing emotions, heighten self discovery, empower and explore inner strengths to overcome challenges and obstacles.

Process.

Art therapy is not about creating a beautiful piece of art but about the process of expression therefore you do not need to have any prior artistic experience or be creative.
